The Morality Play of The Great Release
Smoking rewards.
- WE, the diminished children of a deceptive society could not manage to use successfully the
simplest of gifts.
- To the 'People' smoking tobacco was a precious symbol of paying back to the Lords of Creation.
- WE accepted tobacco but did not accept their religion,
- WE took what had not been earned.
- Unwittingly WE stole and became its (tobacco's) slave through debt.
- By default WE became attached to its lower part (addicted), and could not receive the higher gift.
- Tobacco is a medicine of the gods, safe use is found within the confinement of due ceremony.
- The People saw our piety and assumed WE would contain their great gift, knowing not the falsity
of our hearts.
- They had never met religion that was a mere dressage and were deceived by the deceived.
- They (unintentionally) gave tobacco to a people unable to blend with the intelligence of its
wise and proper use, even though WE were shewn.
- And so it remains to this day.
The Rewards of Smoking
At first, the gifts of the gods are given on credit to instruct the receiver.
- But WE were mostly deaf from the start and learned not tobacco's ways.
- Instead, WE took it for granted,
- Nurturing the expectancy of the next thrill.
- Demanding a reward for doing nothing,
- Becoming over time, ever more tyrannical.
WE remain unequal to the gift, not having listened to the givers.
- WE destroyed the life and ways of the givers,
- The knowledge for its proper usage is no longer to be found.
- Unthinkingly WE enslaved it, turning it into a commodity.
- Traded for profit in a commercial free for all.
- By being unequal to its power and content,
- WE become its addicts, damaging and destroying our health.
- In our ignorance, this is our only experience of the way of it.
This 'Addiction' is of our own creation, through our own stupidity.
Release can be won by knowing this.
True smoking, rewards.
The knowledge that the 'People' once held is now sadly lost.
Quite likely it was concerned with developing Courage and Peace, and being in service to the gods.
Perhaps this sentiment prevailed, "Together with it (tobacco) we celebrate the Great Mother and the Great Father."
Smoking was probably done only for a good reason, or as a ritual or ceremony at certain times of the day and year...
Maybe at dawn in honor of the sunrise and in respect of the renewal of life.
Note: Their (the Peoples') innocence produced the greatest unintentional revenge the world has ever known.
Note: As ever the white man received a blessing and managed somehow to turn it into a curse.
Note: WE are organically one with our ancestors; life is inheritance. Until we learn how to elevate, we are trapped inside the history of our race.
Let it Pass.
