The General Rules of Cigopoly

- Don't play, ever.
- You only have the one life.
- If you should play, then you become a 'Player' and the surgeon generals warnings are in effect.
- Cigopoly is addictive.
- 'EGO' is counted as 'zero'.
- Currently movement is clockwise around the board
- The player throws the dice once to find the number of spaces to move, a 'six' is not needed to start.
- The player comes to the table at his or her own risk with whatever health and cash she or he has.
- Follow all the instructions found in the Customer Care cards.
- Likewise in the Smoke and Mirror cards.
- The player cannot buy individual streets, the respective tobacco companies already own them.
- The player pays the cashier the sum required upon arriving at any square, (Click on the square to reveal the current amount due, it often changes.)
- In order to be able keep on playing, the making and recieving of loans, and filing for bankruptcy is encouraged by 'Big-Tobac Co.'
- There are no winners, only escapees.
- The player who manages to quit smoking is an escapee.
- The other players should keep on trying to get rid of cigarettes.
